There are hiking trails, cycle routes, swimming pools and special programs for families in the immediate vicinity. The village of Gröbming is 6 minutes away by car. An absolute highlight is the Stoderzinken, Gröbming's local mountain with the Friedenskircherl. The zipline is an absolute must for anyone with a head for heights and looking for a thrill. Schladming, the Sölktäler, the Hauser Kaibling and the Ramsau with the Dachstein are all in the immediate vicinity.
In winter, there are numerous sports and leisure activities on offer: 9 ski mountains, 860 km of groomed pistes, 250 km of cross-country ski trails, ski schools and ski hire in Gröbming and Pruggern as well as winter hiking trails, wildlife feeding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, curling, moonlight tobogganing and torch-lit hikes.
